This piece is reflective of an event that in my life that we have all experienced in our lives. A breakdown of a relationship. I think we’ve all experienced this on some level. This was unfolding while creating pieces for an upcoming exhibition, hence the title. I appreciate that subject of distraction can take on many forms and is as personal of an experience as the person.

Each layer of paper has been hand cut using acid-free paper and a surgical blade and bounded together with acid-free glue and other appropriate products.

This work is presented in the frame and has been included in the cost of the piece. I have painted the frame in an off-white. If you prefer me to paint the frame in white, I’m more than happy to do so at no extra charge.
